12/18/07 Truck 15 takes the working fire in edgemere, Crews were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire, arriving engine 9 was faced with a fully involved dwelling. while the truck was out on this incident Engine 15 was first in on a reported vehicle accident with entrappment, 2 victims were extricated and transported to the hospital

11/30/07 Engine and Haz-Mat 15 respond on the heavy rescue on I-695 @ Route 40. Crews worked on scene to remove the roof of an overturned tractor -trailer to extricate the driver.

11/24/07 Truck 15 responds to   the double fatal on 702, Units were dispatched just after 2 am for a reported MVC, units arrived in the NB lanes with a vehicle that left the roadway striking multiple trees ejecting occupants and catching fire killing both. Units remained on scene to extricate the victims.  Squad 523, Engine 16, 71 medic 16 BC33 also on scene.
11/18/07 at approx. 2245hrs witnesses reported seeing a black corvette racing up and down Wise Picture_419.jpg (155418 bytes)Avenue at speeds of over 100mph.  It was just starting to rain as the corvette approached the Bear Creek bridge at a very high rate of speed.  Sparks were seen by witness' as the car bottomed out before going airborne across the bridge.  Not long after that a terrible crash was heard.  The corvette reportedly lost control in front of Sparrows Point Country Club where it went off the road and struck two telephone poles, splitting both poles in half.  the car was torn into several pieces.  The driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.
11/16/07 approx. 1530hrs while returning from a call Baltimore County Engine 15 was flagged down by a motorist who stated a train just struck a car in the RR crossing at North Point BlvdPicture_397.jpg (138882 bytes). and Cane St.  Upon arrival E-15 found a locomotive and a car in the RR crossing.   The vehicle was struck while attempting to cross the tracks from a private driveway, and was pushed approx. 300 feet and into the roadway before the train could stop.  A passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, and was transported to John's Hopkins Bayview Hospital. 
11/16/07 0939hrs.  Engine 9 arrived with heavy fire conditions Picture_358.jpg (145739 bytes)to the rear of a large warehouse building.  A second alarm was requested immediately.  E-9 & E-15 attacked the fire with master streams from side C.  once the bulk of the fire was knocked down, crews from E-271 & E-57 made an aggressive interior attack along with E-9 & E-15.  T-15 & Sq.-523 were on the roof.  The fire was quickly brought under control by the 1st alarm companies.  Most of the second alarm companies staged and were later released.Picture_361.jpg (143706 bytes)    Picture_375.jpg (155234 bytes)
11/14/07 Engine and Truck 15 joined other third battalion units on the scene  of this early morning SFD on Sunberry, E61 went on scene with fire showing. Units were put to work on this stubborn fire that took over 30 minutes to call under control
 
June 7-- Truck 15 goes on the working fire in Hyde Park, The Truck was dispatched on the working fire assignment for this fire in an EG Townhouse, with heavy smoke and gire showing iupon arrival.
June 5 --Engine & Truck 15 respond to the dwelling fire in Dundalk. Engine 61 went on scene with heavy fire from a 2story middle of the group townhouse, extending to the adjoining structures, and requested the second alarm.  Engine15 made the push to the 2nd floor while the Truck opened up, and began trench ops   Story       Photos
June 3 --Truck 15 responds on the Multi-alarm fire in Violetville. this fire in a warehouse would eventually spread to adjacent structures and go to a Sixth alarm.

6 Alarm box 34-01 Wild Webber Trucking Co.  This fire went six alarms after the first arriving engine arrived with heavy fire in a 2 story masonary building, which quickly spread to two adjacent buildings.  Truck 15 responded from quarters on the 3rd alarm request, and Engine 15 responded from quarters on the 4th alarm request.  Units were dispatched mutual aid from Baltimore city, Howard County, and BWI Airport.

May 31 --Station 15 was a stop on the international Hero2Hero tour, the crew stayed overnight with A shift and then was treated to breakfast by Sylvester Cologne and C shift

June 28, 2006 After midnight D-Shift still drying out from the golden ring fire was dispatched to Dundalk off of Holabird Ave for a dwelling fire. Units went on scene with fire showing and declared the WFD.
June 27, 2006 - Just after the truck cleared the previous fire Engine 15 was picked up for the WFD in Golden Ring. this fire in a duplex took units a while to control with several special calls

June 27, 2006- 12:45- Engine and Truck 15 responded to the working fire in Bethlehem Steel. This basement fire took over an hour to control, keeping the Truck busy from arrival until they were released around 5pm, the engine responded on the WFD and went to work upon arrival.
May 28,2006  Engine Medic and Truck 15 were dispatched to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with roll-over in the area of North Point and Eastern Ave. Units were advised enroute that police were onscene advising a possible fatality and another occupant trapped, upgrading the Rescue. Units arrived to find one partialy ejected fatality, and another occupant trapped. extrication was completed quickly and the occupant was transported to an area hospital.
May 18, 2006   Truck 15 was special called to assist Medic 6 at the KFC to use a stokes basket to remove a worker who was injured on the roof
May 9, 2006 11:00 Engine Truck and Medic 15 respond to a confined space rescue in sparrows point. Units arrived to package, set rigging, and remove a victim from an former acid tank. Crews were assisted by first arriving engine 57 Sq-262 and ATR Medic 9 treated and transported the victim who suffered minor injuries due to a suspected fall.
May 2, 2006 13:00  Truck 15 respondes to a special call in Rosedale. Engine 282 on the scene of a motor vehicle accident request Truck 15 to preform 100_1627.JPG (1003931 bytes)a stokes basket operation, to remove the driver of a vehicle that left the roadway and went down an embankment.
April 23, 2006 21:04  Engine and Truck 15 respond to a reported dwelling fire in the 700 Block of Mace Ave, Units arrived to find a fire on the second floor of the dwelling. Crews worked at this declared working fire for over 2 hours.

April 5, 2006 14:57 P4030026a.jpg (866058 bytes)Engine and Truck 15 respond to a Mid-Afternoon Fire in Essex. Fire Box 7-12 was dispatched  at 14:57 hrs for a reported "Dwelling Fire With Rescue" at 16 Dovetail Ln. One person was killed in this fire and a few others were transported to the hospital.  link to Essex fire

This would also be the last fire for "Old Yellow" as it would be placed out of service at the end of the day ending it's career as Truck 15, this piece was Truck 15 when it was new before entering the reserve fleet in the early 90'sxl12.JPG (42383 bytes)

March 18, 2006-Engine and Truck 15 responded to the second alarm fire in Sparrows Point, the fire contained to a conveyor belt and was quuickly exstinguished

March 15,2006-Engine and Truck 15 responded to a fire in a an office trailer on the Sparrows Point property, the truck went to work opening up the roof to expose the fire that was seated in the roof, and checked for extension. Engine 15 arrived to establish RIT.
 

Units respond to the Second Alarm Fire in Edgemere

Units from station 15 joined others from 9, 26, 57, 27, 22 on the reported building fire, engine 9 arrived with heavy smoke conditions on the 2nd floor and requested the second alarm. Units conducted search and rescue of numerous occupants in the building. and forcible entry into those as well as the fire room.

Engine 15 responded on the second alarm with various other units. Two ALS strike teams were requested to assist with the high life hazard

FEBRUARY 22- Engine & Truck 15 responded to a dwelling fire on Grayhaven Road, Quick work was made of this room and content fire   and extension was minimized.
